Job summary

Carroll Lutheran Village is seeking a Part-Time Dining Services Associate - Clinical to support meals for residents in a compassionate, mission-driven environment. The role emphasizes customer service, dietary compliance, and adherence to safety standards within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or current enrollment in high school.
• At least 1 year experience in hospital, restaurant, or continuing care retirement community (CCRC) preferred.
• Follow HACCP, sanitation, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards.
• Prepare meals by reading recipes and production sheets.
• Estimate food quantities based on census and dietary needs.
• Operate kitchen equipment and utensils to prepare ingredients.
• Prepare therapeutic diets and modified-texture meals.
• Measure liquid and nutrient restrictions as required.
• Participate in all meal services and in-room delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment.
• Assist residents with menu selections ensuring dietary compliance.
