Job summary

Greenbrier Senior Living is seeking a friendly Evening Hostess for a part-time 4:00 PM–7:00 PM shift in Vestavia Hills, AL. You will warmly greet residents and guests, seat them, and help manage dining room flow to ensure timely service.

Ideal candidates exhibit excellent customer service and a welcoming demeanor, with dependable, punctual attendance and a team-oriented mindset. Previous hospitality or senior living experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat residents and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Help manage dining room traffic flow and ensure residents receive prompt, attentive service.
• Serve as a primary resident services contact during the evening meal period.
• Coordinate seating to help balance responsibilities among dining room servers.
• Process guest meal charges as needed.
• Assist with the orientation and training of new Dining Room team members.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
• Maintain dependable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
