Job summary

Greenbrier Senior Living is seeking an Evening Hostess to join our Dining Services team on a part-time basis. You will greet residents and guests, seat them professionally, and help manage dining room flow during the 4:00 PM–7:00 PM shift.

In this role you’ll provide friendly, attentive service, coordinate seating, and assist with trainee orientation. A welcoming demeanor and good communication are essential for delivering a positive dining experience for residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat residents and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Help manage dining room traffic flow and ensure residents receive prompt, attentive service.
• Serve as a primary resident services contact during the evening meal period.
• Coordinate seating to help balance responsibilities among dining room servers.
• Process guest meal charges as needed.
• Assist with the orientation and training of new Dining Room team members.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
• Maintain dependable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
