Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Dietary Worker to support patient meal production and catering services. You will assist with plating and assembling trays, maintain sanitation, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

Responsibilities include setting up the tray line, cleaning equipment, and following NYSDOH and JCAHO standards. Evening shifts with rotating days and part-time schedule emphasize reliability and teamwork in a healthcare environment.

Competenze

• High School or GED required.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment including tray line systems and dishwashers preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare and assemble patient trays with timely plating.
• Ensure accurate completion of trays and proper portioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment.
• Set up tray lines for meal service and restock as needed.
• Operate pot washing and cleaning of all pots and pans.
