Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to service our Reyes Beverage Group shop in Chesapeake, VA. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain tractors, trailers, and related equipment with focus on safety and accuracy.

This full-time position offers a 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule, $30.00-$35.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, retirement plans, health coverage, and bonus incentives for ASE/CDL qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR per DOT.
• CDL License A highly desired; mandatory in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the online system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tech.
• Perform detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Comply with DOT/OSHA safety policies and company standards.
• Occasional travel and driving company vehicles as required.
