Job summary

AEO is seeking an experienced DC Operations Manager to provide strategic and hands-on leadership for the Evening Shift. You will oversee supervision and 200+ associates, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient processing, fulfillment, and shipping in a fast‑paced omni‑channel environment.

You will forecast labor, drive continuous improvement, manage costs, and partner with HR on performance and policy compliance. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in distribution, manufacturing, retail operations, or high‑volume processing.
• Omni‑channel or e‑commerce experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and planning skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and general computer applications.
• Experience with WMS/WCS systems is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strategic, innovative, objective, people‑focused, and highly collaborative leader with a sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Model the AEO Core Values in daily leadership and culture.
• Lead a team of Supervisors and 200+ hourly associates to achieve high performance.
• Forecast labor needs and allocate resources to maximise throughput and accuracy.
• Drive omni‑channel fulfillment strategies with AE Direct and DC departments.
• Monitor KPIs and drive cost control, safety, quality and throughput.
• Champion CI initiatives and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Train and develop hourly and exempt employees; lead teams across shifts as needed.
• Make informed decisions on product flow and staffing within established guidelines.
