Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Distribution Center Leader to coordinate and lead receiving, warehousing, shipping and delivery activities to meet service and cost objectives while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in supply chain or warehouse operations with leadership ability; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Lean Six Sigma knowledge and data-driven process improvement are a plus. Afternoon shift starts at 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Leadership capability in a matrix healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics or warehouse management best practices.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop teammates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead receiving, warehousing, shipping and delivery activities.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement using Lean or Six Sigma.
• Provide training and mentorship to teammates on processes and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and SOPs/WIs.
• Manage attendance, schedules, and performance feedback.
• Support new customer implementations at the distribution center.
