Join Our Team as a Right at Home Caregiver

During these challenging times, Right at Home is committed to supporting you. We offer the opportunity to serve seniors and adults with disabilities in Comstock Park/Rockford, MI. We are looking for caregivers interested in two or more shifts per week, especially on weekends from 8am to 8pm. Available shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overnights.

What You’ll Do and Who You Are:

Training will prepare you for your role, but ideally, you are honest, energetic, approachable, and communicative. You take pride in your work, handle pressure well, and enjoy a challenge. Your tasks may include assistance with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, exercises, dementia care, and companionship activities like reading, music, and puzzles.

Must Haves:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Meet requirements for direct patient care employees
• Ability to pass a background check
• Complete a competency evaluation per state law
• Current CPR certification (recommended)
