Job summary

Responsibilities

Monitor all computer systems, system jobs and connected devices to support daily data operations.
Print, output and distribute reports to internal/external customers.
Identify problems quickly and escalate when needed for resolution.
Retrieve/move/store input and output media with data integrity in mind.
Perform daily system backups and copy from disk to tape.
Manage printer spool files and output queues for reports.
Set up and operate peripheral devices; monitor for errors.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
Monitor supplies and order as needed.
Submit job requests according to computer schedules.
Develop and implement new processes when necessary.
Maintain an organized workspace to ensure a safe environment.
Work overtime when required.
Perform related duties as assigned.
