Job summary

PDS Optical in Louisville, KY is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for the 2nd shift to enter customer orders and maintain accurate data in our computer system. The role requires accurate typing, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling customer information.

The position runs 4:30pm to 1:00am, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Ideal candidates type at least 40 WPM with 90% accuracy and contribute to a team focused on veterans and service excellence.

• Must have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of standard computer equipment, fax, phone, etc.

Responsibilities

• Enters customer and account data according to computer screen format.
• Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
• Know the follow up procedure associated with obtaining any missing data required for processing
• Provide customer service to customer account reps or patients, answer phone, follow up with orders, files, tracking patient’s orders and status, etc.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
