Job summary

DSV – Walton, USA is seeking a Warehouse Operator - Clerk to support order processing, data entry, and quality control in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and strong communication, with full-time on-site hours and a shift differential of $2.50 for night shifts.

Responsibilities include processing orders, generating paperwork, handling shipping documents, and maintaining inventory records while adhering to safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate related paperwork and shipping information for orders.
• Coordinate special shipping requests with the operations department.
• Prioritize orders based on pickup time or pier cutoff.
• Furnish shipping and tracking information as required.
• Maintain relationships with customers and respond to inquiries.
• Oversee paperwork and maintain order files.
• Enter and verify data about orders, shipments, receipts, adjustments.
• Ensure accuracy of receiving and shipping documents.
• Comply with all work instructions and safety procedures.
