Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia. is seeking a custodial worker for the 2:00pm to 10:00pm shift. The role requires cleaning and sanitizing multiple areas, moving heavy items, and adhering to contract standards.

Eligible applicants must be able to obtain a TS clearance and meet essential physical requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and supporting special restoration tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas in accordance with the contract specifications.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces in public areas.
• Descale showers, toilet bowls, and urinals.
• Keep restrooms supplied with required paper products and soap.
• Perform routine glass and mirror cleaning.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items.
• Perform emergency cleaning per contract.
