Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia is seeking a Custodian to perform cleaning and building services across public and work spaces, including executive areas, under a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role requires adherence to contract specs, safety rules, and facility policies; duties range from restroom disinfection and floor care to trash removal, glass cleaning, and maintenance of equipment. A high school diploma and custodial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning and building services in public and work space areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces in public areas.
• Clean floors, carpets, and surfaces; vacuum and mop as required.
• Trash removal and recycling duties.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchens, break rooms, and fitness centers.
• Follow agency policies, contract specifications, and safety procedures.
