Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer skills including email usage.
• Knowledge of building operation systems and safety practices.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience or ability to perform snow removal and grounds work.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily custodial operations for assigned shift.
• Communicate work directives to custodial staff and building principal.
• Perform cleaning tasks in classrooms, restrooms, and hallways; mop, strip and seal floors, wash windows.
• Assist with minor repairs in electrical, mechanical, plumbing areas.
• Support kitchen staff by cleaning floors and stocking storerooms as needed.
• Monitor building automation controls and security systems; secure facilities.
