Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a part-time Cleaner for the 2nd shift in Rochester, NY. The role involves a broad range of custodial tasks to keep buildings clean and well-maintained under supervision.

You will mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize bathrooms, and report maintenance issues. The position emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner - back pack style.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces.
• Operate floor machines and buffers.
• Vacuum rugs and spot clean daily; dust furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windowsills and interior glass surfaces.
• Clean and restock bathrooms daily.
• Monitor and report defects (urinals, lights).
• Collect and dispose of building trash daily.
• Replace liners in waste baskets.
• Shovel snow from entrances as directed.
• Perform periodic high dusting and polishing.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned.
