Cushman & Wakefield Services is seeking a Cleaner for the 2nd shift to perform a wide range of custodial duties across its buildings in New York. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and consistent service delivery.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, restock restrooms, and handle glass cleaning and periodic high-dusting, reporting issues to supervisors and ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – back pack style
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings)
• Use floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo when directed
• Wash windowsills and interior glass; clean and dust furniture, fixtures, and high dust areas
• Wash bathrooms and restock supplies daily; damp wipe glass surfaces and dispensers
• Monitor defects such as clogged urinals or lights out and report to supervisors
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated area for removal
• Replace liners in waste baskets per specs
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed
• Perform periodic work: high dusting, leather and wood surfaces, wall washing
• Any and all other duties as assigned
