Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Pasadena to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role involves janitorial duties, hazardous waste handling, and operating cleaning equipment on a 5:00pm–1:30am schedule with competitive hourly pay.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 months of training or experience; a valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential in this team environment.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual a plus; ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures and manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as assigned and on daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collection, labeling, and handling.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain area cleanliness.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, procedures and company policies; work as part of a team.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct; communicate with staff and customers professionally.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items and take direction from supervision.
