Job summary

Central Bucks School District seeks a Custodian - 2nd Shift for Tamanend Middle School to maintain a clean and safe learning environment.

The full-time role comes with benefits and pays $21.15 per hour. Hours are Monday to Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, for the 2026/2027 school year (end date TBD).

Employees perform routine cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and assist with furniture setup and event support as needed.

Qualifications

• This job involves a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Must be able to use commercial vacuums, stripping machines, and floor scrubbers.
• Able to perform snow removal and use related tools when required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect lavatories and surfaces.
• Collect and discard trash and maintain floors (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping).
• Assist with furniture arrangement and group cleaning projects.
• Respond to weather-related needs (snow removal, salting) and support outdoor events.
