Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Custodian for the 2nd shift at Central Bucks High School South. This full-time, benefits-eligible position runs 3:00pm to 11:30pm and supports a clean, safe learning environment.

Responsibilities include trash collection, floor care (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping), cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, cleaning glass surfaces, assisting with furniture arrangement, responding to winter weather, and supporting outdoor events.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to follow standard procedures for chemical dilution and use of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Collect and discard trash and maintain floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning.
• Clean and disinfect lavatory areas and glass surfaces; assist with furniture arrangement.
• Participate in group cleaning projects and support outdoor events; assist with snow removal and salting as needed.
• Perform security checks and support supervisors or managers with other duties.
