Job summary

Central Bucks School District is accepting applications for Substitute (On-Call) Custodians for the 2nd shift. The role is part-time with no benefits and pays $20.05 per hour, district-wide availability, ASAP start, and on-call flexibility for the 2026-2027 year.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and disinfection of facilities; duties may extend to snow removal, security checks, and assisting with outdoor events as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to properly use commercial vacuum cleaners, stripping machines, floor scrubbers, snow removal equipment (shovel & snow blower), and other cleaning tools.
• Follow standard procedures for diluting chemicals, applying floor finishes, and safe chemical use.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
• Collect and discard trash; sweep, vacuum, mop floors; disinfect lavatory areas.
• Clean glass surfaces and mirrors; participate in group cleaning projects.
• Maintain furniture and fixtures; assist with furniture arrangement.
• Respond to inclement weather with snow removal and salting; conduct security checks.
• Support outdoor sporting events as needed by supervisors.
