Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking Substitute (On-Call) Custodians for the 2026-2027 school year. This 2nd shift, part-time/on-call position has no benefits and requires responsibilities such as trash removal, floor care, and restroom disinfection across a district-wide scope.

Additional duties include assisting with furniture arrangement, responding to inclement weather, security checks, and support for outdoor events.

Qualifications

• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow standard procedures for chemicals and floor finishes.
• EOE; provisional for 90 days per ACT 168.

Responsibilities

• Collect and discard trash; maintain floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping.
• Clean and disinfect lavatories; clean glass surfaces and mirrors.
• Participate in group cleaning projects; arrange furniture as needed.
• Respond to weather events (snow removal, salting) and assist outdoor events.
• Perform security checks and follow supervisor instructions.
