Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is hiring a Custodian in the United States. The role ensures cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas and supports safe working environments.

Responsibilities include performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, handling hazardous waste per procedures, maintaining area upkeep, and reporting hazards to supervision. Excellent teamwork and adherence to safety rules are required; shifts are Wed–Sat, 5:00pm–3:30am.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Must be able to perform essential duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Handle hazardous waste per procedures including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Follow safety rules and procedures
• Work as part of a team
• Report incidents to supervisor
• Drive to various work locations if required
