Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a General Cleaner in Marietta, GA to perform custodial work across our facility. Duties include cleaning offices, lobbies, restrooms and common areas to industry standards, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 pm–10 pm, at $15.50/hr. The role involves cleaning 4,500–5,000 sq ft per hour, following PPE and infection control practices, and supporting a clean, sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of offices, lobbies, breakrooms, corridors and restrooms to a sanitary standard.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep floors and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, stock supplies such as toilet paper and soap.
• Handle trash and recycling, replace liners as needed.
• Report hazards and maintain safe work practices and PPE usage.
• Move lightweight furniture only when directed by supervisor and keep areas organized.
• Follow infection control practices and ensure proper cleaning of surfaces and equipment.
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule, including nights; adhere to uniform and safety requirements.
