Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a Custodian for the Dorchester BMC to maintain clean, safe, and accessible court facilities. Duties include cleaning offices, bathrooms, and common areas, removing refuse, and assisting with basic maintenance under supervision of a Facilities Supervisor.

This union position starts at the entry level rate per the CBA/MOA with OPEIU Local 6; shifts run 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with potential overtime and occasional travel between courts within the cluster.

• Provides coverage for other custodians as needed and supports maintenance tasks.
