Job summary

Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys seeks a Custodian for Brighton to maintain clean, safe court facilities. The role cleans offices, bathrooms, floors, and common areas, handles waste, and assists with light maintenance to support operations.

The position is 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, essential personnel in emergencies, and eligible for a $1.00/hour shift differential. Travel between courts may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• No degree requirement
• Three (3) years of related work experience
• Union position with CBA/MOU terms

Responsibilities

• Dusts and wet mops floors and stairways; operates vacuum for carpets.
• Polishes floors with wax; uses power buffer.
• Cleans windows, walls, doors; replaces light bulbs.
• Maintains restrooms; replenishes supplies and dispensers.
• Mows lawns; shovels snow; moves furniture as needed.
• Provides coverage for other custodians as needed.
• Performs other duties as required.
