Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role requires following daily schedules, operating cleaning equipment, and reporting hazards. Strong safety awareness and teamwork are essential.

The candidate should have 3–6 months training or experience preferred; a valid driver's license may be required. Shifts are Mon-Fri, 5PM-9PM, with pay $15.00-$16.00 per hour and benefits as described by SBM.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe use.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
