Job summary

Chimes is seeking a dedicated Custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance at our facilities. This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday, 6:00 pm–10:00 pm schedule, ensuring offices and common areas stay clean, safe and well-maintained.

Under supervision, you will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, replenish restroom supplies, and assist with event setup. The position supports safety, reporting hazards, and following contract requirements.

Qualifications

• What you will do are general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure facilities remain clean, safe and well-maintained.
• Duties include cleaning offices, restrooms, public spaces, and common areas; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting; removing trash and replenishing restroom supplies.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
• Empty trash and replenish restroom supplies
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors, walls, elevators, and other building surfaces
• Spot clean carpets and perform floor care as needed
• Assist with furniture setup and breakdown for special events
• Remove snow and ice from walkways (when required)
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards
• Follow all safety policies and contract requirements
