Job summary

Chimes DC Brand is seeking an on-site Custodian for evening shifts to keep offices and common areas clean and well-maintained. You will use cleaning equipment, handle waste and restroom supplies, and support event setups as needed.

Responsibilities include safe operation of cleaning tools, reporting hazards, and adhering to safety and contract requirements. This position offers a structured schedule within a federal program context.

Qualifications

• Clean offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces.
• Empty trash and replenish restroom supplies.
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors, walls, elevators, and other building surfaces.
• Spot clean carpets and perform floor care as needed.
• Assist with furniture setup and breakdown for special events.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways (when required).
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Follow all safety policies and contract requirements.
