Qualifications

• Two years of cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in custodial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently with good time-management skills and to perform tasks without close supervision.
• Demonstrated collaborative, responsible work habits.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to cover evening hours, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established procedures.
• Clean, dust, wipe furniture, sweep/mop/vacuum floors; empty trash; replace light bulbs; launder cleaning rags.
• Use and maintain assigned equipment and supplies; perform minor repairs.
• Lock/unlock buildings; secure premises when not in use; report unauthorized access.
• Follow safety instructions for chemicals and supplies.
• Strip, clean, buff, and finish floors as needed.
• Clean sidewalks and exterior stairs; remove snow or debris.
• Assist with setup of facilities for meetings, classes, events, etc.
• Be a reliable team member with punctual attendance.
• Accommodate schedule changes for deep cleaning or special projects.
