Job summary

HES is seeking a 2nd shift janitorial associate to perform custodial tasks in school facilities. No prior work experience is required; training will be provided. The role includes sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, restrooms, and light maintenance under supervision.

Pay is based on previous roles and responsibilities, with benefits available. This is a full/part-time position and may involve seasonal snow/ice duties and event setup.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and comprehend at a level appropriate to duties

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Empty trash cans and keep entryways clean.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Change interior light bulbs on reachable fixtures.
• Notify management of needed repairs.
• Remove snow/ice and apply salt.
• Organize custodial closets and supplies.
• Move and set up furniture for events.
