Cushman & Wakefield’s C&W Services is seeking a Part-Time Cleaner for the 2nd shift in Lenexa, KS. The role involves performing custodial duties under supervision, including floor care, restroom restocking, and daily cleaning tasks with emphasis on detail and teamwork.

No prior cleaning experience is required; you must be able to take direction and work well with a team, using cleaning tools and equipment such as a portable backpack vacuum.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner - back pack style.
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high energy and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines (commercial type).
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces; high dusting as needed.
• Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors, partitions, and windows.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily; damp wipe glass surfaces and empty waste baskets.
• Monitor for defects (clogged urinals, lights out) and report to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated collection area for removal.
• Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers as per specs.
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed.
