Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a part-time Cleaner for the 2nd shift to maintain cleanliness and order in our facilities. The role includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restroom upkeep, with emphasis on attention to detail and teamwork.

The successful candidate will work under supervision, follow established standards, and operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers. Shift is 5:00pm–9:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – back pack style
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance
• Shift: 5:00pm-9:00pm M-F

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all horizontal surfaces including high dusting.
• Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors, partitions, and windows; clean interior/exterior glass as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies; damp wipe glass, empty waste baskets, and service dispensers daily.
• Monitor defects such as clogged urinals or lights and report to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated area for removal.
• Replace liners in waste baskets as specified.
• Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways as directed.
• Perform periodic work like high dusting, leather and wood surfaces, polishing, wall washing
• Any and all other duties as assigned.
