Job summary

Latin School of Chicago is seeking a reliable Evening Custodian to clean offices and, preferably, school facilities. Schedule is 3:00pm–11:30pm, Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat. Duties include dusting, mopping, restrooms, trash, setup for events, and basic maintenance.

Snow removal may be required; safety and independent work are essential. The role offers an excellent benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial/janitorial experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently.

Responsibilities

Latin School of Chicago is seeking a reliable and skilled Evening Custodian with experience cleaning office buildings and, most preferably, schools.WORK SCHEDULE:3:00pm-11:30pmMonday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and SaturdayJOB DUTIES:Perform general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.Perform routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.Empty trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.Unlock doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.Remove snow when are where is needed (shovel and blower)Stripping and waxing floors when neededOperating carpet extraction equipment when neededCleaning washrooms and officesSnow removal when neededHelp set up for the next day's events (moving tables, chairs, bleachers, etc.)Other related duties as needed and/or assignedLatin School of Chicago has a pleasant working environment, excellent benefits package including a generous time-off plan.
