Job summary

Naperville Community Unit School District 203 is seeking a Substitute Custodian to support buildings and grounds on an as-needed basis. Duties include cleaning classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, gyms, bathrooms, and offices, with floor care, trash removal, and setup responsibilities as needed.

The position is part time and as needed, with a starting pay of $18.42 per hour. A criminal background check and health clearance are required by Illinois School Code before assignment.

Working Environment and Physical Requirements:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting of at least 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50% walking, and 50% standing.
