Job summary

Valencia College is seeking a Custodial Working Supervisor to coordinate custodial staff on the assigned shift at its Orlando campuses. The role is full-time and on-site with a 4:00 PM–12:30 AM schedule, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend needs.

Key duties include assigning areas, ensuring staffing and equipment, monitoring performance, maintaining supplies, and upholding safety protocols. A high school diploma or GED is required; supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Functions as working supervisor and coordinates custodial staff on assigned shift.
• Assists custodial supervisor in establishing areas of responsibility and work assignments.
• Ensures personnel and equipment necessary to accomplish tasks are available.
• Checks standards of performance and initiates corrective action as required.
• Assists in maintaining control of supplies and maintenance equipment.
• Assists in maintaining personnel attendance records.
• Carries out safety procedures including Florida Right To Know Law.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
