Job summary

The Emily Program in Atlanta is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant at our inpatient/residential treatment center. This temporary role supports the kitchen team and ensures a safe, professional culinary experience for clients, families, and staff.

You will assist in food preparation, dishwashing, labeling, and maintaining cleanliness to meet ServSafe and state Food Code requirements. Schedule is 32 hours per week, Friday to Monday, 1:00-9:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen tasks as directed by the Chef or Sous Chef.
• Help with food preparation activities such as chopping, peeling, and washing.
• Maintain proper dating, labeling, and stocking of food and supplies.
