Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state.
• CT - Computed Tomography certification or eligibility within six months of hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Position patients for CT procedures with proper immobilization and comfort.
• Verify patient identity and orders, screen for contraindications.
• Administer contrast media following safety protocols and monitor for reactions.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure timely results.
