Job summary

Search Station, on behalf of a major hospital system in the Pacific Northwest, seeks a CT Technologist for Newberg, OR. This full-time, Friday–Sunday role involves performing CT exams, following physician orders, and ensuring patient-specific care during imaging with advanced CT equipment.

Requirements include BLS, Oregon imaging license, ARRT/NMTCB CT eligibility, and 1-year CT certification timeline. Eligible external candidates receive a $6,000 sign-on; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association — required upon hire
• Oregon Medical Imaging License from the Oregon State Board — required upon hire
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography, OR National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology — required upon hire
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography, OR National Computed Tomography Technologist (NMTCB) — required within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physicians' orders using sophisticated CT equipment
• Apply clinical knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal diagnostic images
• Account for individual patients' special or age-related needs during imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
