Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician supervision, educate patients and families, and ensure safe operation of imaging equipment. You will maintain documentation and supply inventory while keeping equipment clean and ready.

Candidates should have ALD Radiologic Sciences or a trade school certificate, ARRT or CNMT certification (or obtain within 2 years), and CT registry within 2 years of hire. New grads welcome.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CNMT obtained within 2 years
• CT registry obtained within 2 years of hire
• No experience in CT required new grads welcome

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Operates equipment safely; completes department documentation.
• Maintains equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
