Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a CT technologist to perform computed tomography and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. You will educate patients and families, operate the equipment safely, and document in the department systems.

The role requires ARRT or CNMT registration within two years of hire, and completion of CT registry within two years. New grads welcome; ALD Radiologic Sciences or a trade school certificate is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.
• ALD Radiologic Sciences or trade school certificate required.
• No CT experience required; new grads welcome.
• ARRT or CNMT certification must be obtained within two years.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and CT guided interventional procedures under physician direction.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Operates equipment safely and completes department documentation.
• Maintains equipment and adequate supply inventory for examinations.
