Job summary

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC seeks a CT technologist to perform CT and guided interventions under physician direction. You will educate patients/families, operate imaging equipment safely, document thoroughly, and maintain equipment and supplies for daily exams.

No CT experience required for new grads; CT registry or CNMT is expected within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or CNMT is required or obtained within 2 years of hire.
• CT registry must be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician direction.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and care.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and documents in the department system.
• Maintains equipment and keeps supply inventory adequate for examinations.
