Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT is seeking a Full Time CT Technologist for 2nd shift. Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:30 PM–11:30 PM and every third weekend 4:00 PM–12:00 AM. Includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $36.00–$54.81 per hour plus shift differentials.

Operate CT equipment, perform diagnostic/therapeutic CT procedures, and follow safety policies set by ACR, TJC, OSHA. ARRT registered with AMA-approved radiology program required.

Qualifications

• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology.
• CT registry certification preferred.
• CPR certification may be required.
• At least three years as a radiologic technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with correct exposure factors and protocols.
• Assist radiologist during invasive CT exams with sterile technique.
• Respect radiation safety standards and shielding requirements.
• Maintain CT equipment and clean work area after use.
• Document patient data and store images in PACS/RIS.
• Coordinate patient flow to meet productivity and safety standards.
• Provide instruction to students and supervise clinical competency.
