Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent necessary.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program required.
• Registered with ARRT is required.
• CT state license required.
• CPR certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment and positions patients for exams.
• Assists radiologist in complex procedures and prepares images for interpretation.
• Maintains radiation safety and monitors protective devices.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports hazards or breakdowns.
• Documents procedures in PACs and RIS systems.
