Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a Full Time X-Ray Technologist at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT. The role includes two-shift evenings (Mon-Fri 4:00 PM–12:00 AM) with a sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly rate.

The candidate will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, ensure radiation safety, and collaborate with radiology staff to provide accurate diagnostic images. Prior ARRT registration and AMA-approved training required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of AMA approved radiology program.
• ARRT registration and CPR certification may be required.
• At least one year experience as radiologic technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography following protocols to produce quality images.
• Assist radiologist in procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain equipment and clean work area after each use.
• Input data into RIS/PACS and track charges accurately.
• Communicate with patients, staff and other units to ensure smooth workflow.
