Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for Mystic Imaging in Mystic, CT. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a $35.50–$54.41 hourly range and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for well-qualified candidates.

The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI procedures, prepares examinations for interpretation, and collaborates with radiology staff to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Requires MRI certification (or obtained within six months of hire date).
• CT state license.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure.
• Individual exceptions may apply only under the discretion of the Medical and Administrative Director

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment and performs diagnostic MRI procedures per established protocols.
• Assist radiologist in complex invasive MRI exams with sterile technique.
• Start intravenous sites and inject contrast per protocols.
• Maintain MRI equipment and clean workspace; report hazards.
• Demonstrate yearly competencies and meet patient needs.
• Document patient data and store images in archive system.
