Rutgers University, UBHC - Military Services, seeks a Supervising Mental Health Specialist (Evening) to lead crisis response and supervision across the evening shift. The role focuses on triage, service delivery, and staff development within a dynamic mental health team.

The position supports high-risk cases, ensures adherence to safety protocols, and coordinates with a broader behavioral health care network across New Jersey. Strong leadership and clinical skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related field plus 1 year of full-time related experience.
• Active NJ certification/licensure for Social Work if applicable.
• U.S. military veteran status as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide crisis response, triage, and support services for calls, chats, and requests.
• Supervise assigned staff with ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Support staff in managing high-risk situations following safety protocols.
• Review queues and dispositions to ensure person-focused service delivery.
• Maintain staffing coverage during assigned shifts and monitor KPIs.
