Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years mental health or crisis intervention experience with unrelated bachelor’s degree.
• Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field of study required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to all calls.
• Assesses patient’s immediate needs and stabilizes as needed.
• Utilizes crisis intervention techniques and follows policy.
• Documents according to department policy and required forms.
• Follows up on patient condition and coordinates referrals.
• Works with crisis counselors and case managers to ensure follow-up.
