Job summary

Meadow View is seeking a part-time evening cook to join our team. The role includes preparing meals to health standards, reviewing menus, and assisting with inventory under the supervision of the Foodservice director.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and knowledge of HACCP guidelines; Serve Safe certification is preferred. Prior long-term care experience is a plus and a commitment to teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Supervise, coordinate and perform functions under the Foodservice director.
• Effective verbal and written English communication required.
• Must meet health regulations and pass screening criteria.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food per health regulations and policies.
• Review menus and diet guidelines for accuracy and appeal.
• Assist with inventory and ordering under the FSD.
• Maintain food temperatures and HACCP records.
• Ensure sanitation and proper use of utensils and equipment.
• Support department cleaning tasks and summit to safety guidelines.
