Meadow Lakes is seeking a Cook to join American Senior Communities LLC’s culinary team. This part-time role offers weekend hours with day and evening shifts, focusing on preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents while upholding sanitation and food safety standards.

You will follow menus, lead kitchen tasks, and ensure timely, high-quality meal service in a supportive, health-focused environment. Prior healthcare or institutional kitchen experience is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required or 1–3 years related experience.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification.
• Healthcare or institutional service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follows recipes and prepares food that meets residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks or prepares palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in required quantities.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, cleaning, and storage of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during food preparation and service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies per procedures and state/federal regulations.
