Job summary

Meadow View Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time cook for evening shifts to join our culinary team. You will prepare meals that meet residents’ nutritional needs, following menus and recipes, while ensuring sanitation and food safety standards are maintained.

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred.
• Healthcare/institutional kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares food meeting residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks meals in quantities needed while maintaining quality and safety.
• Leads kitchen staff in food prep, assembling trays, cleaning and storage.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during preparation and service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food in compliance with procedures and regulations.
